Overview:
Ann is a national program leader for microbial genomics and for the biology of microbes that have agriculturally significant associations with plants; responsible for administering three National Research Initiative Programs as follows: The Biology of Plant-Microbe Associations Program; the microbial subsection of the Functional Genomics of Agriculturally Important Organisms Program, and the Microbial Genome Sequencing Program, which is jointly administered with the National Science Foundation.
