Capital National Animal
Identification Development Team
The goal of the Capital National Animal
Identification Development Team is to ensure
that when a highly infectious animal disease
is spotted the infected animal's whereabouts
can be traced back at least 48 hours. The
USDA Animal & Plant Health Inspection
Service (APHIS)
facilitates this effort among industry, state,
and federal entities focused on “safeguarding
animal agriculture by protecting American
animal agriculture.”
