Agricultural Marketing
Research
Currently, more than 800 NIFA-funded marketing-related research projects are under way around the country. Many different organizations and groups spearhead these various projects, funded by Hatch Act formula grants, competitive programs including the National Research Initiative, and special projects funding to support basic and applied marketing research.
Multistate marketing research committees lead many of these projects by using a multistate collaborative approach to conduct agricultural marketing research of national importance.
Most research projects have a three to five year lifespan. A table of marketing-related research projects summarizes recently approved Hatch research projects relating to marketing and trade issues. The Current Research Information System provides a mechanism for searching all current research and education topics and projects.
