Community of Practice for Agricultural Law develops compilation of Agricultural Legal Education resources on Wind Energy
The new Community of Practice for Agricultural Law and its members have compiled a list of agricultural legal education resources on wind energy development, available at the bottom of this page. Membership of the COP is comprised of licensed agricultural lawyers working as educators and extension professionals within the land-grant and extension system. The document lists member universities whose agricultural law professionals are part of the new COP. The resource list has been peer reviewed by the agricultural law professionals within the land-grant and extension system, as well as members of the American Agricultural Law Association.
The COP provides to education and extension professionals the resources they need to enhance knowledge of the rapidly developing wind energy industry. These resources can be used to provide producers, landowners, and communities with valuable insight into the legal issues that must be considered in a fully balanced educational programming effort regarding wind energy development. Contact the specific centers and individuals listed within the resource for more information.
