The North
American Farmers' Direct Marketing Association (NAFDMA)
provides an organization and environment
to promote and foster the growth of farm
direct marketing by offering its members
educational, networking, and fellowship
opportunities.
The association's ongoing commitments include:
- Be a primary source of information on
farm direct marketing.
- Support sustainable growth of farm direct
marketing.
- Encourage open dialog within all facets
of the farm direct marketing industry.
- Be a supportive public voice for our
members and the industry at large.
- Provide an umbrella organization for
regional associations.
- Encourage formation of regional and local
associations.
People who work in government, education,
extension, manage a farmers market, or are
an industry supplier are encouraged to join
NAFDMA to take advantage of the best source
of practical and current information on direct
marketing. NAFDMA can benefit farms, businesses,
and companies in many ways. Members of NAFDMA
can take advantage of the annual conference,
annual trade show, special workshops, and
NAFDMA quarterly newsletters and many more
benefits.
USDA members of NAFDMA include NIFA , Agricultural
Marketing Service (AMS), Natural
Resources Conservation Service (NRCS),
and Rural
Development (RD).
