National Network for Child
Care
NIFA provides resources and program expertise
to the National
Network for Child Care Web site, which
includes thousands of resources, primarily
focused on child care and issues regarding
young children. Most materials were developed
by faculty from land-grant universities.
All the materials posted on the site have
gone through a peer review process. The information
on the site is research based, nonbiased,
and reliable.
The site materials are for child care providers
and administrators, parents, community leaders,
and those working professionally in the child
care field, serving some 3 million people
a year from more than 130 countries. The
Web site has won numerous awards and received
recognition from The Washington Post, U.S.
News and World Report, NBC Today Show,
and Newsweek.
