Nutrition Education Evaluation and Reporting System (NEERS5)
The Nutrition Education Evaluation and Reporting System (NEERS5) was designed as an expansion of the Evaluation/Reporting System (ERS4). NEERS5 is a multi-level system that includes the county (CRS) and state/territory (SRS) sub-systems. CRS5 was implemented in FY06 and SRS5 was implemented in FY07.
NEERS5 is used to collect quantitative data about program participants and EFNEP staff. Demographic and behavior change data is entered into CRS, aggregated using SRS, and then further aggregated by the national office. Results are posted on the EFNEP Impacts page.
The NEERS5 website provides resources for new and current users along with answers to frequently asked questions.
