NIFA partners with the agricultural experiment stations throughout the United States to foster research on high-priority food science and technology topics through membership on the following two multistate research committees:

• Multistate Research Project “Improvement of Thermal and Alternative Processes for Foods.” (NC136)
• Multistate Research Project “Enhancing Food Safety through Control of Foodborne Disease Agents.” (S-295)
