April 9 Webinar highlights American cooperatives and their experiences abroad

Join NIFA’s Center for International Programs at noon on April 9—in person or online—as we discuss the vital role that American cooperatives play, both at home and abroad. In the United States, cooperatives improve the economic well-being of millions of Americans, while in developing communities they help low-income communities achieve a higher standard of living. Universities, both at home and abroad, play a significant role in developing sustainable and successful cooperative techniques. Paul Hazen, executive director of the U.S. Overseas Cooperative Development Council, will share the insights of his organization’s research as they apply the cooperative model to create sustainable economic development abroad.
