Learn about the UN’s BEFS approach to sustainable bioenergy

Join us at 12:30 p.m. on April 10—in person or online—as NIFA’s Center for International Programs hosts a discussion on the United Nations’ Food and Agriculture Organization’s (FAO) approaches to bioenergy and food security. Bioenergy development can create food security opportunities—and risks—depending on sector planning development and production management. Join us to learn how FAO’s Bioenergy and Food Security (BEFS) approach helps countries assess and manage risks. The BEFS Approach consists of integrated, multidisciplinary tools and guidance that may improve sustainable bioenergy policies and strategies. Link for more information and how to attend .
