Portfolio Review
In response to a directive from the Office
of Management and Budget (OMB), the NIFA
portfolio in Soil, Air, and Water was
reviewed by an independent panel of academic,
government, and private sector representatives. This
review was part of an overall OMB-mandated
review of the relevance, quality, and performance
of NIFA research, education, and extension
programs.
