Michigan State University
Land Policy Program
The W.K.
Kellogg Foundation awarded a $5.9 million
grant to the Michigan State University Land
Use Policy Program to support land
use policy research, education, and innovation.
In addition to research, the grant will
help recruit a core team of land policy extension
educators to address local land use education
needs. This core team will provide a model
for bridging and disseminating research results
to help communities address the ever increasing
agriculture-induced environmental concerns
as well as tensions and conflicts at the
rural/urban fringe.
