2009 Water and Watershed Research Grants Announced

NIFA has awarded more than $4 million in competitive grants to conduct water and watershed research.  The goals of the Agriculture and Food Research Initiative’s Water and Watersheds program are to protect and enhance the natural resource base and environment by improving and maintaining healthy watershed habitat and water supply protection; improve the quality of life in rural America through clean irrigation and livestock drinking water supplies.
