Villanova University Carbon Storage Research

With funding awarded through a NIFA competitive grant, Villanova University scientists are researching the carbon storage potential of Christmas tree farms to maximize ecosystem management and sustainability.  Of particular focus is a future carbon economy in the southern Appalachian Mountains, a rural region economically dependent on agroforestry.
