The National Institute of Food and Agriculture (NIFA) provides leadership and funding for programs that advance agriculture-related sciences. We invest in and support initiatives that ensure the long-term viability of agriculture. NIFA applies an integrated approach to ensure that groundbreaking discoveries in agriculture-related sciences and technologies reach the people who can put them into practice.

The U.S. Department of Agriculture’s National Institute of Food and Agriculture (NIFA) Hispanic-Serving Institutions (HSI) program staff presents a webinar describing the FY 2024 Hispanic-Serving Institutions Education Grants Program Request for Application (RFA). This competitively awarded grant program is intended to promote and strengthen the ability of HSIs to carry out higher education programs in food and agricultural sciences and train students to enhance the Nation’s food and agricultural scientific and professional workforce.
