USDA’s National Institute of Food and Agriculture has awarded $8.8 million to support 13 projects that focus on developing the next generation of research, education, and Extension professionals in the food and agricultural sciences. This initiative allows colleges and universities to provide undergraduate students with experiential learning opportunities that include significant research, Extension/outreach, and/or education components in the food and agricultural sciences. REEU is part of the Agriculture and Food Research Initiative Education and Workforce Development (AFRI EWD) competitive grants program.
