The Novel Foods and Innovative Manufacturing Technologies program area priority within AFRI’s Foundational and Applied Science Program develops science and technology to improve and preserve the quality, safety and nutrition of novel foods and food ingredients, and conventional foods for sustainable food and nutrition security. Research projects funded through this priority also advance food manufacturing competitiveness to ensure a more sustainable, resilient and healthy food supply.
