NIFA Invests Nearly $1M in Open Data Framework

USDA’s National Institute of Food and Agriculture has invested $957,085 in development of TerraScope: An AI powered Open Data Framework for Soil Health and Simulation. This Open Data Framework project will give growers, researchers and agricultural professionals better tools to understand how soil changes over time and how different choices affect its health. It will serve as a data platform and a bridge between science and practice, empowering farmers and policymakers with new tools to increase productivity and fuel innovation.
