NIFA Internship Opportunities

Most federal agencies offer internship opportunities for recent graduates through the Pathways Program. The Pathways Program includes internships for students from high school through post-graduate school. Specific job opportunities vary by office. These federal internship opportunities may open the door for full-time jobs and serve as an excellent way of entering the federal workforce.  Visit USAJobs.gov for more information.

Thurgood Marshall College Fund Internship Program: NIFA supports experiential learning in food and agricultural science for undergraduate students through grants to US Colleges and Universities.  Each grant recipient has their own program of activities, student eligibility and stipends.  Some may include international experiential learning activity as long as it benefits the US food and agricultural sector.

NIFA Educational Scholarships programs support scholarships for baccalaureate education and fellowships for graduate and post-graduate training in food and agricultural sciences. Graduate students who wish to continue their training may wish to apply for AFRI Pre- or Postdoctoral Fellowships grants through their educational institutions.
