To improve the quality of the Agriculture and Food Research Initiative (AFRI) program, NIFA continuously solicits stakeholder feedback in each of its Request for Applications (RFA) and may hold public meetings or solicit public comments for consideration in the development of future AFRI program solicitations. Additionally, stakeholders may participate in the agency-wide stakeholder input opportunity, NIFA Listens.
Stakeholder feedback comments regarding any AFRI RFA should be submitted to Policy@usda.gov and are requested within 6 months from the issuance of each RFA. Comments received after that date will be considered to the extent practicable.
