Funding is made through NIFA’s Farm Business Management and Benchmarking Competitive Grants Program (FBMB), which aims to establish and maintain a national, publicly available farm financial management database to support improved farm management.

NIFA Announces Partners for SARE National Office and Regional Hosts

USDA’s National Institute of Food and Agriculture Announces Support for Veterinary Medical Loan Repayment

WASHINGTON, Feb., 1, 2018 – The U.S. Department of Agriculture’s (USDA) National Institute of Food and Agriculture (NIFA) today announced the availability of funding to help eligible veterinarians offset a significant portion of the debt incurred in pursuit of their veterinary medicine degrees in return for their service in certain high-priority veterinary shortage situations.
