Cierra Campbell is a Social Science Program Specialist in the Division of Community and Education within the Institute of Youth, Family, and Community. She provides support to the 1890 Land-Grant Institutions Programs.
Prior to joining NIFA, she managed a portfolio of federally qualified health centers (FQHCs) that establish and provide quality healthcare in underserved communities through federal grants. She has experience as a Cartographer at the U.S Forest Service and a Big Tech company in Silicon Valley. Most recently, Cierra served as Director of Programs at a non-profit agency where she developed and oversaw life changing youth and community-serving programs in East St. Louis, IL.
She has a M.Sc. in Geographic Information Science from Florida State University, a B.A. in Geography, a B.A. in Anthropology and Certification in Agroecology from Florida International University. As an undergraduate, she was awarded funding through NIFA’s Multicultural Scholars Program.
She brings her interdisciplinary expertise and service-oriented nature to support NIFA’s mission.
