Marissa Weiss

Dr. Marissa Weiss is a Climate Change Fellow within the Division of Global Climate Change in the Institute of Bioenergy, Climate, and Environment. Prior to joining NIFA, she was a Climate Engagement Scientist with the Northeast Climate Adaptation Science Center at the University of Massachusetts. She was also previously a AAAS Mass Media Fellow, and a Mirzayan Science and Technology Policy Fellow at the National Academies. She earned a Ph.D. in Ecology from Cornell University, a M.S. in Ecology, Evolution, and Behavior from the University of Minnesota, and a B.S. in Biology from Cornell University.
