Planning for effective program evaluation is a critical component of ensuring efficacy of a program. There are numerous steps that are involved in planning a program evaluation, including understanding the needs of your program’s target population, what services and activities your program will be able to offer to its participants, what resources (human and financial) your program has to offer, and how the needs of the larger community will be addressed as a result of your program.
The following resources provide helpful information to land-grant institution applicants on developing logic models, the CYFAR National Outcomes and conducting a needs assessment.
