The Data Gateway enables users to find funding data, metrics, and information about research, education, and extension projects that have received grant awards from NIFA. Users can use terms and filters to search for projects, choose the data elements to see in the results, and export the results.

HOW TO USE THE TOOL
The Data Gateway is accessed through the NIFA webpage, or the NIFA Reporting Portal. When navigating to the page using the NIFA webpage, be sure to click on the “Search Projects:” Search button on the right side of the page. If entering via the NIFA Reporting Portal, upon logging into the Portal, users who have active accounts see the Data Gateway search dialogue under “Search NIFA Projects”. Users may use the “reset password” link on the Portal login screen if they do not remember their password. Users who do not know if they have an active account but would like to log into the NIFA Reporting Portal to use the Data Gateway search features, instead of the public website should email electronic@usda.gov.
