The Expanded Food and Nutrition Education Program (EFNEP) collects data on all adults who participate in the program. Demographic characteristics, food and physical activity questionnaires and 24-hour dietary recalls are administered at entry and at exit to measure behavior change. Committees have reviewed literature/research studies and tested new behavioral change and diet recall tools. The goal is to ensure EFNEP is collecting the best data possible to demonstrate program impacts. Documentation of the processes and resources used are below.
