President's Budget Proposals
Summary of NIFA’s President’s Budget submission by Fiscal Year. Summary includes breakdown of proposed funding by activities, highlighted initiatives, changes proposed for Agriculture and Food Research Initiative (AFRI) competitive grants program, and other priorities that are found within the President’s Budget submission.

Congressional Actions
Congress reviews the President's Budget Proposal and develops allocations for the House and Senate Appropriations Subcommittees to use in developing annual spending bills. Throughout this phase, NIFA’s Budget Staff monitors Congressional actions and provides analysis of impacts Congressional Action on NIFA’s budget and programs. Analysis of supplemental appropriations can be found as provided separately or incorporated within the fiscal year analysis.
