This technical assistance webinar question-and-answer session will respond to guidance on the FY26 Research and Extension Experiences for Undergraduates (REEU) program goals and priorities, application submission guidelines, peer review process, and resources to aid in submitting an application to NIFA. The REEU program is published as part of the Agriculture and Food Research Initiative's Education and Workforce Development Notice of Funding Opportunity.
The pre-recorded webinar is posted below.
The REEU Program Area Priority promotes research and Extension learning experiences for undergraduates such that upon graduation they may enter the agricultural workforce with exceptional skills. This initiative allows colleges and universities to provide opportunities for undergraduate students, including those from community colleges.
Read more about the program in the AFRI EWD Notice of Funding Opportunity; the application deadline is March 19, 2026. General questions about the REEU program can be submitted to A7401@usda.gov.
