Grant Applicant/Awardee Technical Assistance Sessions (GAATA)

Welcome to the “new” Grant Applicant/Awardee Technical Assistance Sessions (GAATA). In 2024, NIFA is organizing four virtual sessions – two each in grants development and grants management – to help enhance access and effectiveness of the agency’s programs. 

The first session focused on allowable and unallowable costs. Panelists from NIFA's Office of Grants and Financial Management and the agency's Program institutes responded to pre-submitted as well as live questions. To help plan the initial presentation by the panelists, attendees were asked to submit questions at registration. Registration for these events is open to all NIFA applicants, awardees, and others interested in the agency’s funding programs.

Each session will be ninety minutes. NIFA staff address pre-submitted questions first and then participants get the opportunity to ask questions. Please email AdminOpsTeam.NIFA@usda.gov with any questions or concerns.
