Dr. Sheila Fleischhacker, National Science Liaison – Food Safety and Nutrition and NIFA Nutrition Security Team Co-Chair, will kick off this edition of the NIFA Food and Nutrition Security Webinar Series providing an overview of Local and Regional Food Systems relevant funding opportunities across NIFA. Then, Drs. Sarah Rocker, Charlotte Tuttle, Amy Ganguli, Mallory Koenings, Lydia Kaume, Jodi Williams, and Vance Owens, National Program Leaders will provide overviews of their relevant programs. Dr. Fleischhacker and Ms. Shelly-Bright Manga will moderate a discussion across the panelists including questions from the audience. 

NIFA stakeholders including academics, practitioners, and decision makers working to prioritize nutrition security using research, education, and/or Extension, with a special interest in approaches to reduce food loss and waste.
