The Division of Youth and 4-H engages in a variety of formal partnerships with many federal agencies. The purpose of these partnerships is to further the opportunities and leverage support for the 4-H system.
Examples of mechanisms used would be a Memoranda of Understanding (MOU) which establishes the broad working relationship and does not obligate entities to exchange funds or Inter-agency Agreements (IAA) which involve the exchange of funds between agencies with a defined scope of work.
