District of Columbia Public Postsecondary Education Reorganization Act Program (Cooperative Extension Programs)

The purpose of the University of the District of Columbia Public Postsecondary Education Reorganization Act Program (DCPPERA) capacity grant is to develop practical applications of research knowledge; instructions and practical demonstrations of existing or improved practices or technologies in agriculture; uses of solar energy with respect to agriculture, home economics, and rural energy; subjects relating to persons not attending or resident in 1862 Land-grant Institutions; imparting information on those subjects through demonstrations, publications, and otherwise, and for the necessary printing and distribution of information in connection with the subjects.

Reporting

Organizations receiving District of Columbia Public Postsecondary Education Reorganization Act Program (Cooperative Extension Programs) funding from the National Institute of Food and Agriculture (NIFA), are required to submit the following reports: 

  • Program 

    NIFA utilizes the NIFA Reporting System (NRS) for all programmatic reporting. NRS currently contains the Agricultural Research, Extension, and Education Reform Act of 1998 (AREERA) Plans of Work, Annual Reports of Accomplishments and other capacity grant data for research projects and Extension programs.   • Grants Management

    Per 2 CFR 200.238, awardees are required to submit a SF-425, Federal Financial Report annually no later than 90 calendar days after the reporting period. The final SF-425 is due no later than 120 calendar days after the conclusion of the period of performance. The form should be submitted through the ezFedGrants (eFG) Portal.  To access the SF-425 instructions and the required manual form for submitting a revised SF-425, click the button below.
