The Veterinary Medicine Loan Repayment Program (VMLRP) allows each state to nominate a set number of Veterinarian Shortage Situations each fiscal year. The VMLRP Maximum Nomination Allocation table contains the maximum number of shortage situations each state can nominate as a shortage. If a nomination is carried over from a previous year to the following, the total combined number of new and carry-over nominations cannot exceed the maximum number allocated.
