Gus Schumacher Nutrition Incentive Program (GusNIP) Produce Prescription RFA Webinar

Gus Schumacher Nutrition Incentive Program (GusNIP) brings together stakeholders from various parts of the food and healthcare systems. The competitive grant program portfolio includes nutrition incentive projects, produce prescription projects, and training, technical assistance, evaluation, and information centers (NTAE Centers) which provide support services to both nutrition incentive and produce prescription projects. Produce prescription projects aim to increase procurement and consumption of fruits and vegetables, reduce individual and household food insecurity, and reduce healthcare usage and associated costs.  

NIFA and NTAE Center staff will host a webinar for applicants interested in applying to the GusNIP Produce Prescription competitive program on:

The webinar will focus on the FY 2022 GusNIP Produce Prescription Request for Applications (RFA), general program guidelines, GusNIP NTAE Center’s Nutrition Incentive Hub free one-on-one support, and the required core firm-level and participant-level metrics.
