Adequate and effective supervision of paraprofessionals is an essential component of the Expanded Food and Nutrition Education Program (EFNEP). The following resources have been developed for supervisory training, self assessment, professional development, and decision making by universities in providing supervisory support for EFNEP paraprofessionals. These resources are intended to help enhance programmatic quality and improve employee results. Evidence of success will be reflected in improved programmatic outcomes for states and universities that implement best practices and invest in paraprofessional supervision.
