October 2017 IFSN Seminar

On October 24, 2017, Dr. Lori Francis presented “Forget about the Kitchen Sink: Selecting and Optimizing Components for a Childhood Obesity Prevention Program”. This seminar has been approved by the Commission on Dietetic Registration for 1.0 Continuing Professional Education Unit (CEU).

Seminar Overview

As a result of attending this seminar participants will be able to: 
  • Describe the multiphase optimization strategy (MOST) as a framework for optimizing and evaluating behavioral interventions
  • Evaluate the use of the MOST as a useful approach to selecting intervention components and designing efficient interventions
