Janette Jensen

Janette Jensen is the Awards Management Division Chief for Competitive Team 2 and is responsible for delivering and administering NIFA’s funds through grants and cooperative agreements and providing guidance and resources to grantees, stakeholders, and customers. Her career in the federal government spans over 43 years and includes experience in military service in the US Army as a personnel administrative specialist; administration in all facets to include human resources, budget, accounting, real and personal property, facilities maintenance; contracting and grant administration, policy development, process, and performance improvement. She joined NIFA in Jan 2020 and previously worked in Department of Defense, Department of Energy; Western Area Power Administration; U.S. Department of Agriculture-Agricultural Research Service, Natural Resources Conservation Service and Farm Production and Conservation.
