NIFA's history of serving Indian Country began with the Federally Recognized Tribes Extension Program. The 1994 Land-Grants programs came after that. New Farm Bill provisions opened new opportunities for 1994 Land-Grant Research Program. This site will help recipients of these grants learn about the history of these programs and understand the changes that affect their programs.
The Federally Recognized Tribes can view a copy of their legislation in the first attached document.
