Scientists from Iowa State University
and the Roslin Institute, University of Edinburgh (United Kingdom)
, are collaborating to reduce the impact of Avian colibacillosis, a disease of poultry caused by E. coli
. This project brings together U.S. and U.K. poultry immunology, genomics, and microbiology to develop veterinary and breeding strategies to produce healthier chickens.
