A webinar-style public listening session was held Dec. 12, 2012, to collect stakeholder input on the Youth Farm Safety Education and Certification (YFSEC) competitive grants program. Listening sessions help NIFA’s leaders address stakeholder needs and assure that NIFA addresses the highest priorities authorized under YFSEC. Written stakeholder comments were accepted until close of business on Dec. 26, 2012.

NIFA considered stakeholder input and written comments in developing the FY 2013 program guidelines. We expect to release the FY 2013 RFA in March 2013.
