The Predoctoral Fellowships (A7101) program area priority in the Agriculture and Food Research Initiative’s Education and Workforce Development program area helps to develop new scientists and professionals in the food and agricultural sciences so that they enter research, education and/or Extension fields within the private sector, government or academia. The aim of these fellowships is to cultivate future leaders who can solve the emerging agricultural challenges of the 21st century.
