Debbie Puett

Debbie Puett joined the NIFA team in Kansas City, Missouri as a Staff Accountant with the National Institute of Food and Agriculture, on the Financial Management Division Team. In this position Puett performs reconciliations that balance to the Treasury monthly. These reconciliations ensure that NIFA balances to the treasury and all identified differences are researched and managed to ensure these are resolved thus balance to the treasury is maintained.  Prior to government work, Debbie worked in private industry using her BS in Accounting to perform various accounting duties including financial management for numerous Federal, State, and Local grants ensuring all award funds are accounted for, fully expended, and maintaining balance with the grantor agencies.
