To be recognized as an HSI, institutions must have a minimum of 25 percent Hispanic enrollment. Hispanic-Serving Agricultural Colleges and Universities (HSACUs) are represented. In addition to the enrollment requirement, a HSACU must have an accredited agriculture-related program and at least 15 percent of the degrees awarded in agriculture over the two most recently completed academic years.
