March 3: World Wildlife Day  

  • Wildlife contributes to healthy ecosystems, provides income to landowners, and affords recreational and aesthetic benefits to society. With support from @USDA_NIFA, (UNIVERSITY/PARTNER) conducts wildlife-related research. (Link to wildlife research funded by USDA-NIFA.)  
     
  • With support from @USDA_NIFA, (UNIVERSITY/PARTNER) is educating landowners about wildlife issues and improved management practices. (Link to wildlife education and outreach funded by USDA-NIFA.)  

March 19: First Day of Spring  

  • Spring has sprung! With support from @USDA_NIFA, (UNIVERSITY/PARTNER) is developing new plant products that are critical to the sustainability and competitiveness of U.S. agriculture. (Link to plant research funded by USDA-NIFA.) 
     
  • Horticultural crops represent nearly 40% of U.S. agricultural crop production. With support from @USDA_NIFA, (UNIVERSITY/PARTNER) Extension educates citizens about how to sustainably manage landscapes and gardens. (Link to Extension work funded by USDA-NIFA.) 

March 17-23: National Ag Week 

  • At (UNIVERSITY/PARTNER) we conduct sustainable agriculture research with support from @USDA_NIFA. Learn more about our efforts to promote a sustainable supply of abundant, affordable, nutritious food. (Link to research funded by USDA NIFA.)
