Aging-Related Programs Developed and/or Delivered by Extension
The Land-Grant University and Cooperative Extension System is responsible for the development of many programs that contribute to the quality of life of Older Americans. The National Institute of Food and Agriculture (NIFA) supports many of these programs through capacity funds or competitive grant opportunities. The resources within this document are not inclusive of all programs that have been developed or delivered by cooperative extension, but they provide insight into the variety of programs that address issues faced by many older adults. These include aging farmers and families, especially in rural areas where access to resources can be very limited.
NIFA encourages all program information to be updated appropriately as needed. Please contact Sylvia Montgomery to update your information or if you would like to add program information.
