The Community Foods Projects competitive program supports projects that work across the food system to increase the self-reliance of communities in providing for the food needs of the communities; and promotes comprehensive responses to local food access, farm and nutrition issues, including strategies to reduce food waste, and other agricultural needs that mutually benefit agricultural producers and consumers.
NIFA will host an informational webinar on August 29, 2022, at 2 p.m. CDT for those interested in the Community Food Projects Competitive Grant Program. The webinar will discuss how to utilize NIFA resources and prepare a competitive application, adhering to the Funding Year (FY) 2023 Request for Applications guidelines.
