RIIA and DEG are NIFA-administered competitive grants programs focused on improving formal, postsecondary agricultural sciences education in the following eight insular areas: the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, Guam, American Samoa, the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands, the Federated States of Micronesia, the Republic of the Marshall Islands, the Republic of Palau, and the Virgin Islands of the United States. Program staff will provide an overview of the FY2022 RFA RIIA and DEG programs to interested applicants and be available to answer any questions.
