NIFA’s Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) and Small Business Technology Transfer (STTR) programs offer competitively awarded grants to qualified small businesses to support high quality research related to important scientific problems and opportunities in agriculture that could lead to significant public benefits.
The SBIR/STTR programs stimulate technological innovation and increase private sector commercialization among small businesses, strengthening the national economy by enabling small businesses to undertake — and benefit from — research and development (R&D).
The goal of the programs’ Phase II — which is only open to previous Phase I awardees — is to continue R&D while increasing the focus on commercialization.
In this webinar, program staff provide an overview of Phase II and discuss details included in the Request for Applications (RFA).
